David Fischer If I had discovered this on December 31st 2022, it still would have made my year-end list. While the first two installments of the trilogy are really good, this is on a whole other level. Absolutely staggering that this was written and recorded in just five days. The vivacious bass is grandiose, the alternation between ambience and blackened neocrust bombastic, the melodies pristine, the DYI attitude honest. Also, the revenue is donated to a welfare for city pigeons. Nothing to add. Awesome. Favorite track: Okay, But Whose Goodbye Is It Really?.

Slut Aus Nord Blackened skramz which echoes the sentiment of Newfound Interest in Connecticut, but allows its more propulsive heritage to occasionally shine through in its vivacious basslines. Favorite track: Downhearted Ascent Along Bleak Serpentines.

Written and recorded from the 11th to 15th december in an isolated cellar far away. Returning to the origin of the first release „These Streets Where We (No Longer) Belong“ the album „Collapsing On Our Way To Snowcloaked Mountaincrests“ marks the final fragment of a three-part series. Questioning the supposed dichotomy of remembering and forgetting opens paths through the dark, dreamy forests of confrontations with the self and our fellow world. Where might this journey lead? What might lurk behind the pinnacle? Nothing remains but the subjective narratives about the frozen serpentines of failure. They are the bitter end of missed redemption. Can the wild collapse conceal the desolation and lack of expectation?

All revenue will go towards Stadttaubenhilfe Leipzig e.V., the local citypigeon welfare in Leipzig (Germany) which is currently struggling with financial difficulties. The association takes care of medical treatment of injured city pigeons, looks after a pigeon house in Leipzig's citycenter and tries to raise awareness about city pigeons:
